Hydraulic worksheet and shop drawing review can sometimes be the biggest challenge for code officials and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) during the plan review phase. Getting these steps right every time benefits fire sprinkler contractors, AHJs and layout technicians. This course explains each step that needs to be covered and checked during this phase of plan review with tips and techniques of experienced plan reviewers.  Contractors and AHJs will benefit from this seminar by learning a step-by-step method of hydraulic review and where mistakes are commonly made or found. This knowledge can be used to improve the plan submittal and review process leading to improved plans and reduced review times and resubmittal fees.

2021 NFPA Technical Session Debrief – Why it Matters

The NFPA Technical Session in June 2021 is the final step for the newest edition of several NFPA codes and standards of the fire sprinkler industry. Several last chance certified amending motions (CAMs) were presented to the NFPA membership, debated, and voted upon. The 2022 NFPA 13 will be published in the Fall of 2021. Hear what the changes will be before the book is printed and how these updates affect the fire sprinkler industry.
