Fire sprinklers in areas subject to freezing, such as attics, have several methods of protection. Underwriters Laboratories (UL) presents on the history of antifreeze and recent developments of listed antifreeze products. J.F. Ahern, a NFSA fire sprinkler contractor based in Wisconsin with branch offices across the mid-west of the US, presents on the challenges facing contractors and building owners of dry pipe systems, antifreeze, and other methods of freeze protection.
