Winter Freeze Protection - Lessons Learned

Join a panel of fire protection professionals who were directly impacted and responded to the historic winter freeze which affected Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas in February of 2021. The presentation will provide participants with a review of the circumstances leading up the freeze, during the freeze and the outcome and response of those affected. Finally, the NFSA moderator will review best practices for the design, installation, inspection, repair and reporting of fire protection systems to be prepared for and withstand winter freeze conditions.
