Online Training

2020 NFSA Virtual Fire Sprinkler Expo

Construction fire safety and inspection reporting have several new digital and electronic methods that improve site safety and existing system compliance. The future of the industry is embracing digital solutions and evolving technology. Potter Electric Signal, a NFSA member, presents solutions for construction fire safety using wireless technology for fire watch and flow devices. Inspection Reports Online (IROL), a NFSA member, and Vision 20/20, will educate service providers on the shift towards Community Risk Reduction (CRR) across the country, what that means for our industry, and the role of the provider. Also addressed is ITM and how it is the common thread between CRR and Third-Party Reporting in reducing high risk situations, including loss of life and property damage within communities.

Learning objectives:

  1. Discuss the past and current methods of monitoring construction sites for fire safety.

  2. Apply electronic inspection reporting for NFPA 25 and fire code compliance.

  3. Understand the requirements in the codes and standards.
