This two-hour course will provide attendees with an overview of high-piled storage occupancies, including a review of how stored materials are classified into commodities and who the appropriate party is in determining these classifications. The course also covers the general types of high-piled storage configurations within buildings and concludes with an overview of how and when the International Fire Code requires fire sprinklers to protect these storage configurations.
