Storage Commodities with NFPA 13 and the IFC - Virtual Training

March 10, 2021 from 9:00 - 12:00 pm CST

Seminar Description: Plastic commodities in storage occupancies have long been challenges to sprinkler systems, building owners, contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction. The implications and differences in noncombustible, combustible, and plastic commodities is often a serious design and plan review issue.  Water supplies, building heights, storage heights, storage configurations and types of sprinklers are some of the constant variables for protecting these varying plastic commodities. NFPA 13 has complex and varying rules for the protection of stored plastic commodities. It is important to include the International Fire Code (IFC), Chapter 32 for high-piled storage and maintenance. This virtual and interactive seminar will explore these requirements in the codes and standards for design, installation, plan review, inspection, and maintenance.

This seminar is being held LIVE online.  Attendance is REQUIRED.  Any participant not in the online class within 30 minutes of the start time will be unenrolled.  No continuing education credits or refunds will be given for unenrollments.
