This course reviews fire sprinkler performance and effectiveness based on data submitted to the United States Fire Administration’s National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS). The data examined will include national trends and incidents for the states in the region. 

Learning Objectives:  

1. Review fire sprinkler activations by common factors (such as year, month, day of week, system type, etc.) 
2. Demonstrate fire sprinkler effectiveness by number of sprinklers activated and fire spread.  
3. Identify common occupancies for successful sprinkler activations.
